A Day at the Amusement Park

Last summer, I went to the amusement park with my best friend Lily. We arrived early and ran to the roller coaster first. I was scared at first, but Lily held my hand. When the roller coaster went down, we screamed loudly. It was exciting! Next, we went on the Ferris wheel. From the top, we could see the whole park. We ate cotton candy and hot dogs for lunch. The cotton candy was pink and sticky, and it got on our faces. In the afternoon, we played games at the carnival booths. I won a big teddy bear by throwing rings. We went on the water ride—we got soaking wet, but it was fun. In the evening, we watched the fireworks show. The sky was full of bright colors. We took lots of photos. It was the best day ever. I hope we can go to the amusement park again next summer. I’ll bring more money to play more games.
